Paris Attack Statement

(Birmingham, AL, 11/14/15)—The Council on American-Islamic Relations-Alabama (CAIR-AL), in coalition with other Muslim organizations in Alabama, shares in grief felt worldwide for Paris, France. Our hearts are filled with prayers for the families and loved ones of those robbed of the gift of life, and our thoughts and prayers are with the people of France and the people of the world during this dark time. These are crimes against humanity perpetrated by the cruelest of humanity.
Now more than ever, we must unite and stand together against the ugly face of terrorism, wherever it manifests itself.
Yesterday, CAIR’s National office issued a statement in response to the Paris attacks that read in part: “We condemn these horrific crimes in the strongest terms possible. Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of those killed and injured and with all of France.”
