We Are Excited And Looking Forward to Meeting Some of You In Madison!
For All Others I Urge You to Join by Contributing to A Successful Event
Thanks for your continued support. Your contributions of time, money, and—most importantly—ideas have affected and touched the lives of people all over Alabama. CAIR-Alabama is excited to be kicking off our first fundraiser of 2016 in Madison.
I wanted to take this opportunity and tell you a little bit about our inspirational hosts. Madison Masjid started in 2011 as a prayer space to cater to the small but vibrant Muslim community in surrounding areas. Slowly it has blossomed and now leads the effort to bringing Muslims together in fields as diverse as sciences, civics, faith, and culture through American Muslim Association of North Alabama (AMANA). AMANA aims to meet today's challenges facing the Muslim community in North Alabama. We are excited and look forward to collaborating in the future.
I am grateful to Madison Masjid for extending the invitation to come and hold a fundraiser. Madison Masjid is not as big as many other Islamic Centers across Alabama, however, their generosity is heartening and second to none. If you are in the surrounding areas do join us. I would love the chance to get to know you. However, if you are unable I urge you to take part in this great effort to start on our year end goal by contributing today.
I am encouraged with the progress we have made in the small amount of time we have been in Alabama. We, at CAIR-AL, look forward to serving needs of the Muslim community and others with a larger staff and more resources this year. Your support is vital.
Here is to a year of changing hearts and minds...
